The Federal Aviation Administration is seeking your input on a proposal to decommission the REIL lights on the end of runway 05 at Marshfield, WI. Runway 05/23 is the shorter of the two runways at Marshfield. While I am typically against any decommissioning of ground based services, I can certainly understand that the costs for the FAA to rewire the system are a challenge with their location. The wiring is presently through some wood areas.
